Xinyu Cable Secures 71.40 km 10 kV Medium-Voltage Cable Project in Zhejiang

Wuxi Xinyu Cable Co., Ltd. has successfully secured Power Cable - 10 kV - Zhejiang Lot 26 under State Grid Corporation of China’s 2026  joint procurement programme for the East China region.

The project owner is State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. The awarded package covers six procurement items with a combined cable length of approximately 71.397 kilometres. The notification of award was officially issued on May 29, 2026.

Focused on 10 kV Medium-Voltage Power Distribution

As an important component of regional distribution networks, 10 kV medium-voltage cables transmit electricity between substations, distribution stations, switching stations, industrial parks and major power users.

These cables provide a critical connection between the backbone power network and downstream distribution facilities. Their operational quality directly affects the safety, stability and continuity of the regional electricity supply.

Medium-voltage distribution systems therefore place demanding requirements on cable insulation, structural stability, manufacturing consistency and long-term reliability. This latest award further demonstrates Xinyu Cable’s capabilities in 10 kV medium-voltage cable manufacturing, quality control and large-scale project delivery.

For this project, Xinyu Cable will organise production in strict accordance with the tender specifications and applicable technical requirements.
