This 3.6/6(7.2)kV medium voltage unarmored power cable is designed for fixed installation where mechanical protection is not required.
With a copper conductor, XLPE insulation, and copper tape screening, the cable provides stable electrical performance while maintaining a lighter overall structure compared to armored alternatives.
The unarmored design allows for easier handling and installation, making it suitable for indoor substations, cable ducts, trays, and protected environments within medium voltage distribution systems.

Conductor Assembly
Compacted Class 2 copper conductor manufactured from plain annealed copper, providing reliable current-carrying capability.
A semi-conductive conductor screen is extruded directly over the conductor to improve electrical field uniformity.
Insulation System
Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation applied to withstand medium voltage operation.
An extruded semi-conductive insulation screen surrounds the insulation layer to control electrical stress.
Screening and Sheath
Copper tape metallic screen applied over the insulation system.
PVC outer sheath, Type ST2, providing basic environmental protection for unarmored installations.
Core Options
Available in single-core and multi-core constructions depending on installation requirements.
